What do I do if I got an error?

If you received the following error, "File storage quota exceeded", then you either already are too close to your file storage quota for Canvas (this is the maximum file storage amount you as a student can have on Canvas which is currently 262MB), or this file is simply larger than the allowed amount that you can upload to a course as a student.

In this situation, you need to do one or more of the following: delete files from old courses, compress the file you are trying to upload, or use Dropbox to host the file and simply provide a link to your file in Dropbox.
