You will learn how to participate in a discussion in your Canvas course which uses the Peer Review feature.
Follow these steps after you have made your first post in the discussion, and it is now time for you to perform the Peer Review part of the discussion.
1. Enter your course and click on Discussions.

2. Click on the link to your discussion.

3. Note that you have been assigned a student to review but the Review Now link is not active!
If you are in a large group of students and the discussion extends to multiple pages, it is possible that the Review Now link will not be active. In order for activate the link, your Reply within the Discussion must be on the current page. This is a bug within Canvas!

4. Scroll down the page and navigate to the next page of the discussion.
Be sure to click on the Discussion page, not the Next button to go to the next activity. Eventually, you will get to the page where your reply was posted.

5. Click on the Review Now link.

6. Read the student's post, then click on Show Rubric.
Tip: Not all Peer Review Discussions will use a rubric. If there is no rubric, use the Add a Comment textbox, attach a file, or add/record media. Be sure to follow the professor's instructions as to which type of feedback you are to provide.

7. For each criteria of the rubric, click on the appropriate response.

8. Click on the Comment icon and then type a comment.

9. Once you have completed your comments and the rubric, click on Save Comment.
Tip: If you don't make a comment, then you don't need to click on Save Comment. The Rubric ratings you choose will be saved automatically.

10. Include a general comment using the Add a Comment box if needed and click on Save when complete.
