How Do I Generate the SOQ QR Code and SOQ Shareable Link?
In this guide, you will learn how to generate a QR code and a shareable link for your students so they can access the SOQs for your particular course.
Info: The QR code will link to the SOQ for a only a specific course.
For example: The instructor can display a QR code for one class (e.g. Fall 2024 ENGL 101-01 29876), the students will scan the QR code, and the students will have the ability to fill out the SOQ only for that specific course (e.g. Fall 2024 ENGL 101-01 29876). Students will not have the ability to fill out their other SOQs for their other courses with the QR code that you provided for the one specific class.
Tip: Instructors have 3 ways on how to access their SOQ Dashboard:
- Through the direct SOQ Dashboard link
- Through an Email from CSUF SOQ <[email protected]>
- Through your Canvas course by clicking on the SOQ tab on the Course Navigation Menu (where it displays Home, Modules, Grades, Announcements, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, etc.)
In this guide, we will utilize the SOQ Dashboard link.
Step 1: Get to your Subject Management page through the SOQ Dashboard
You can do this by clicking on this link: SOQ Dashboard
Info: You may have to log in using your CSUF Portal information and perform the DUO Authentication.
Step 2: Click on the 3 horizontal dots (known as "More options") for one of your courses
Step 3: Click on "View QR Code"
Step 4: The View QR Code mini-screen will now display with a URL that you can copy and the ability to view the QR Code
