How do I upload a rubric to a Turnitin Assignment in Canvas?
You will learn how to upload a rubric to a Turnitin Assignment.
Follow these steps when you are ready to upload the rubric. You have already created or are in the process of creating a Turnitin Assignment.
1. Enter your course and click on the Turnitin Assignment link.
2. Click on Edit Settings.
3. Scroll down the page and click on Attach Rubric.
4. Click on Select file, if your rubric is ready for upload.
Tip: The rubric needs to have a very specific format. Click on Download Rubric Template, if you need to convert your rubric to the appropriate form.
5. Navigate to your file.
In this case, an Excel file is being used.
6. Navigate to your file.
7. Click on Next.
8. Review, edit, if necessary and then click on Create.
9. Click on the X.
10. Select the rubric.
Tip: Instead of uploading a new rubric, you can peruse the rubrics that Turnitin has available. Your own rubrics that you upload will be available here to choose from (but you have to upload them first).
11. Click on Save Assignment.
