How do I log into Canvas using Microsoft EntraID?
You will learn how to log into Canvas using Microsoft's EntraID single sign on system.
1. Click on the link to a Canvas course or the Canvas Dashboard.
Or, you can use this link to your Canvas Dashboard.
2. You will be redirected to Microsoftonline.com.
3. Enter your full email address.
For our previous login method, you only needed to enter your username, but for Microsoft, you need to enter your entire email address, such as "[email protected]" for faculty or staff or "[email protected]" for students.
4. Click on Next.
5. Enter your regular CSUF Portal password.
6. Click on Sign in.
7. Click on Continue.
8. When prompted, switch over to your phone or over device that you use for Duo (multi-factor authentication) and authorize the log in.
9. If this computer you are using is your device, click on Yes.
10. Click on Yes.
11. You are now logged in to Canvas.
Your Canvas Dashboard now displays.
