How Do I Create a Canvas Badges Account? [Step 1]
In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to create a Canvas Badges (Badgr) account.
1. Create a Canvas Badges account
In order to use Canvas Badges in your course, you first need to create a Canvas Badges account. Use this link to access the Create Account page.
Tip: It is strongly recommended to create a Canvas Badges account using your @fullerton.edu email address.
2. Check your email inbox for a verification code
The image below is the Verify Code screen. This screen appears after you entered your email address. The verification code will be found in the email address that you entered in the previous screen.
Check your email inbox to see if you received anything from Canvas Badges. You should have received a 6-digit verification code from Canvas Badges. It should look something similar to the image below.
After receiving the code, you will then go back and enter the 6-digit code into the Verify Code screen.
3. Complete the sign up page
You will then enter your information below. You must enter the following:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Password (must be at least 8 characters)
- Confirm Password
- Agree to Terms of Service
4. You have now created your Canvas Badges account!
After entering your information in the prior step, you will now be greeted with the image below. Follow the down arrow and scroll down to the bottom to find the "Get Started" image and "View Canvas Badges Backpack."
