How do I sync my Canvas course enrollments with TestFlex?
You will learn how to sync (or re-sync) the student enrollments from your Canvas course into TestFlex.
Note that when you import a course from Canvas, you also import the current student enrollments. If any students have added or dropped the course since then, you might want to re-sync the enrollments.
It is recommended to sync the roster before each test, so that any change in the roster will be shown when you are grading the test. Otherwise, you will end up with a test answer sheet that doesn't get connected to the intended student. The grade for that student cannot then be passed back to the Canvas gradebook.
Follow these steps after you have already imported your course.
1. After logging in to TestFlex, click on the title of your course.
Tip: If your course does not display, check to be sure you are in the correct Term where the course is located.
2. Click on Canvas.
3. Using the dropdown menu, select Sync with Canvas.
4. Your student roster is now updated.
