How do I link Dropbox to Canvas?

You will learn how to link Dropbox to CSUF Canvas. This allows you to share your Dropbox files with your students directly in Canvas.

CSUF Canvas institution domain: csufullerton.instructure.com

1. Open the Account Menu after logging in to your Dropbox account.

In the dropbox home page on your web browser, click your profile button.

2. Open Account Settings.

In the dropdown menu, select "Settings".

3. Open Connected Apps.

Click the "Connected Apps" tab.

4. Connect to Canvas.

Click the "Connect to Canvas" button.

5. Enter CSUF Canvas Address.

Enter "csufullerton.instructure.com" for the CSUF institution domain.

The address must be entered exactly. There can be no space before or behind the domain. Do not add the "https://" prefix.

6. Connect.

Click the "Connect" button.

7. Authorize Dropbox.

Click the "Authorize" button. This will allow Dropbox to share files into Canvas.

If successful, the window will close. Your email address should now appear with a check mark next to Canvas in your "Connected Apps" list.
