How do I edit captions for my video in Canvas Studio?
You will learn how to edit the the computer-generated captions which you have requested from Canvas Studio.
1. Locate on your video in Canvas Studio.

2. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail and click on View.

3. Click on Captions tab.

1. Use the Three Dots menu to select Review and Publish.

2. Click in the field where the captions need to be edited.
Be sure that the captions make sense for someone with low hearing or a student with the sound turned off or in a room too loud to hear well. Captions are also great if the audio is unclear or the quality poor.

3. In the Caption Text field, type in the desired text.

4. If you want to change the timing, click on Edit.

5. Adjust the timing as needed, and click on Save.
When adjusting the timing, be careful, so as not to overlap captions. If there is a long audio blank, then that might be a good reason to delay the display of the next caption.

6. Click on Publish when finished editing.

3. In the Caption Text field, type in the correct text.

4. If you want to change the timing, click on Edit.

5. Make the timing adjustment and click on Save.
