How do I send the student test scores to my Canvas course?
You will learn how to send (sync) the test grades in TestFlex with your Canvas gradebook.
Follow these steps after you have imported your course, created your test, distributed your test, and graded the student answer sheets.
1. If you have just finished your grading, click on the Sync Grades button.
2. Select Sync with Canvas.
3. Looking at the Canvas course gradebook, you will see that the grades should only take a few seconds to sync.
Note that grades are transferred as a percentage, so if the number of points for this assignment is different than the number of points in the test in TestFlex, the grade will be scaled to fit the number of points in your Canvas assignment.
4. Hover over the title of the assignment and use the dropdown menu to Post grades (this is only necessary if you set you assignment for manual grading.
Before posting, you should review the grades that were imported into the gradebook and if desired, provide any comments or feedback in the SpeedGrader.
Students will now be able to see their grade for this assignment.
Now, if desired, you can return to TestFlex and create some reports to see various test statistics.
