Student: Once I complete a Module that has a badge, how do I obtain the badge?
You will learn how to obtain a badge for a Canvas course or module that you have completed. This guide is for a regular Badgr badges only.
Follow these steps once you have complete the course work required to obtain the badge. In this sample course below the requirement was to finish a survey that then told Badgr that you are ready for your first badge.
1. Within your course, click on the Badges course navigation link.
In this sample course the final task was to complete a survey to activate the badge. The survey has been completed.
You should also receive an email from Badgr; however, if you use the link within your email, you will be required to login. It is recommended to use the Badges course navigation link instead.
2. Click on the badge.
Tip: If you don't see this Badgr page, you may need to authorize Canvas to interact with Badgr. You will see a page where you will need to click on the Authorize button.
3. Click on the Download button.
4. Your web browser should show that the image file has downloaded.
5. The image is now in your Downloads folder.
If desired, you can now use this image in your email signature.
