Student: How do I set my Canvas notifications to receive an email for new Discussion posts?
You will learn how to set your Notifications in Canvas to notify you when someone makes a new Discussion post in your course.
Note: After setting Notifications, you need to mark each Discussion separately that you want to subscribe to.
1. Click on Account.
2. Click on Notifications.
3. Click on the Notifications icon for Discussion.
4. Select how promptly you would like to be notified.
