In this article, you are going to learn how to activate Grammarly in Google Chrome and how to use it in Canvas.
1. Navigate to the Grammarly Plug-in on Chrome webpage.
Use this link to download and install the Grammarly plug-in on Google Chrome.
2. Click the Add to Chrome button.
3. When prompted, click the Add Extension button.
4. Use your CSUF Google Account.
Every teacher, staff member, and student at Cal State Fullerton has a google account connected to their school email.
When prompted select Sign up with Google.
5. Use your School email.
Type your school email (1) and click the Next button (2).
6. Choose the School Account.
Select Google Workspace account.
7. Enter your CSUF Credentials.
When prompted, enter your school user name (1), password (2), and click the Sign in button (3).
8. Verify your Account.
If prompted, click the Continue button.
The Grammarly App is installed on Google Chrome.
The Grammarly App will appear in your browser.
9. Pin Grammarly onto the Extensions.
After the Grammarly App finishes installing in Google Chrome, you can pin the extension next to the search bar by (1) clicking the extension's icon and then (2) activating the Pin.
10. Grammarly can now help you in Canvas.
Grammarly will be visible on the lower right corner in the Rich Content Editor when you are editing a Page, Discussion, Quiz, or Assignment.
