What is TestFlex?

scantron website

TestFlex by Remark (the company that bought out Scantron) is a web-based replacement for using Scantron forms and Scantron's ParScore software.

Using your Canvas course, you can import your student enrollments, create a "test" (like with Scantron's ParScore, this is simply the name of the assignment  - the actual test questions and answers are not actually usually created or uploaded to TestFlex). You create a digital answer key for that test, then print out the answer sheets with each student's name on it or you can require students to enter their CWID on the answer sheet.

After the students complete the test, having filled out the answer sheet, you collect the answer sheets and scan them using a campus copy machine to PDF which you then upload to the TestFlex website for scoring and passing grades back to Canvas (if desired). There are also many different types of reports you can create based on the test results.

If you have used Scantron's ParScore software, this process should feel familiar.
